Matches Markdown embedded image/media syntax like , as used in Obsidian, capturing the URL portion in a named capture group called 'link'. The escaped brackets and parentheses match the literal Markdown delimiters, while .* matches any alt text within a single line. With global and multiline flags, it scans every line of a document to find all embeds at once. Useful for extracting, validating, or rewriting external embedded link targets in Markdown notes.
