Test, validate and match regular expressions
Matches a full URL on a line-by-line basis: a 3-9 letter scheme (e.g., http, https, ftp) followed by '//' and a hostname requiring at least three dot-separated segments (like www.example.com), then an optional trailing path/query portion of word characters, hyphens, digits, slashes, and separators like =, &, ;, $. Commonly used to validate or extract typical web addresses from text.
