Regex Editor & Tester

Matches entire lines (multiline mode) that start with an optionally space-indented quoted string made only of word characters, where no character is immediately followed by 'ness' — i.e., quoted words lacking the 'ness' suffix (like 'happiness' or 'sadness' are skipped). The trailing .*$ consumes the rest of the line, so replacing matches with empty string removes those lines, useful for filtering word lists or config-style quoted entries down to '-ness' words only.
