Matches NMEA 0183 sentences commonly emitted by GPS/GNSS receivers and AIS transponders. Captures a sentence starting with $ or ! (e.g., GPGGA, GPRMC, AIVDM), followed by 1-20 comma-separated data fields containing alphanumerics, dots, hyphens, or plus signs, an optional trailing comma, and an optional *XX hexadecimal checksum. Useful for parsing serial navigation, maritime AIS, and GPS data logs.
