Test, validate and match regular expressions
Matches MongoDB connection strings that embed credentials in the format mongodb://username:password@host. The username must contain at least one character excluding slashes and commas, followed by a colon, an optional password (same exclusions), and an @ symbol before the rest of the URI. Commonly used for secret scanning, security audits, and detecting hardcoded database credentials in source code. The multiline and global flags enable finding all occurrences across an entire file.
