Test, validate and match regular expressions
Matches quoted strings (single or double) while properly handling escaped quotes inside the string content. Uses PCRE's branch reset group `(?|...)` to ensure consistent capture group numbering across alternatives. Group 1 captures the quote character, group 2 captures the string content. Useful for parsing source code, configuration files, or data formats where strings may contain escaped quote characters.
