This regex matches valid IPv4 addresses (0.0.0.0 to 255.255.255.255) and also partially dynamic IP address patterns commonly found in configuration templates. It handles complete IPs, IPs with wildcard or variable middle segments (e.g., 192.168.*.1), and template-style IPs with a closing brace (e.g., 192.168.1.{x}). Useful for parsing network configs, log files, or template files.
