Regex Editor & Tester

This regex uses a negated character class to match any character that is invalid within a PHP variable name. It identifies any symbol, whitespace, or punctuation outside of alphanumeric characters, underscores, and extended ASCII characters (\x7f-\xff). It is highly useful for sanitizing input strings or validating that a string conforms to PHP variable naming conventions.
