Build, test, and debug regular expressions
This regular expression is designed to parse the output of a Linux directory listing command, such as `ls -l` or `ls -la`. It skips the first eight whitespace-separated columns—including permissions, links, owner, group, size, and modification date—by matching sequences of non-whitespace characters. The final capture group then extracts everything else, which represents the filename. It is highly useful for log parsing and file system analysis scripts.
