Regex Editor & Tester

This PCRE2 regex matches HTML/XML tags and captures the tag name and attributes separately. It handles opening brackets, tag names (alphanumeric), optional whitespace, attribute strings containing common HTML attribute characters, and closing brackets (either '>' or '/>'). Useful for parsing HTML structure, extracting tag information, or validating tag syntax in multiline documents.
