Regex Tester & Validator

This regex validates IPv6 addresses in both full and compressed notation. It matches standard 8-group hexadecimal addresses (e.g., 2001:0db8:85a3:0000:0000:8a2e:0370:7334) and addresses using the :: shorthand for consecutive zero groups (e.g., 2001:db8::1 or ::1). Commonly used for network configuration validation, input sanitization, and protocol implementations.
