Regex Tester & Validator

This regular expression captures an IPv4 address followed by a port number, separated by a colon. It uses capturing groups to isolate the IP address and the port number for easy extraction in code. While it matches the basic structure of these network endpoints, it does not strictly validate that the IP octets or the port number fall within their acceptable numerical ranges (0-255 and 0-65535, respectively).
