Regex Editor & Tester

This regex validates Indian vehicle registration numbers (license plates) issued by the Regional Transport Office (RTO). It matches the standard format consisting of two uppercase letters (state code), two digits (district code), two uppercase letters (series), and four digits (registration number). For example, it matches patterns like MH01AB1234. The global and multiline flags enable matching multiple license plates across separate lines of text.
