Matches any '>' character that is not preceded by a forward slash ('/'). This regex is useful for converting HTML tags to valid XML/XHTML format by identifying tags that need self-closing (like '<img>' to '<img/>'). It works by using a negative lookbehind to skip already self-closed tags ending in '/>'.
