Test, validate and match regular expressions
This regular expression matches alphanumeric strings that strictly begin with an alphabetical letter (either uppercase or lowercase), followed by at least one additional letter or digit. It is commonly used in programming languages and parsers to validate or extract variable names, function names, and other identifiers where leading numbers are disallowed. Due to the global flag, it will find all non-overlapping matches within the given text.
