Build, test, and debug regular expressions
Tokenizes simple arithmetic expressions by capturing decimal numbers (e.g. 3.14), whole integers, math operators (+, -, *, /, ^) including negative signs, and parentheses. Alternation order ensures decimals are matched before integers so values like 2.5 aren't split apart. Useful for lexing math input strings before parsing or evaluation; note the trailing asterisk on the parenthesis group allows zero-length matches.
