Test, validate and match regular expressions
Matches either a valid SAS variable name or any other string. A valid SAS name is defined as being 1 to 32 characters long, starting with a letter or underscore, followed by letters, digits, or underscores. The second alternative acts as a catch-all, matching any line completely, which can be useful for finding valid names while keeping invalid lines intact during replacement operations.
