Test, validate and match regular expressions
This Python regex matches lines containing a hyphen and captures the final two uppercase or lowercase letters into a named group called `sig`. By using greedy quantifiers (`.*`), it effectively locates the last occurrence of a two-letter sequence at the end of the line. It is highly useful for parsing location strings or addresses formatted like 'City - ST' to isolate the state abbreviation (sigla).
