Regex Editor & Tester

This regex matches the basename of a filename while excluding the final file extension. It uses a positive lookahead to assert that the matched portion is followed by a dot and one or more non-dot characters until the end of the line. With the global and multiline flags, it can process multiple filenames in a text. Common use cases include extracting names without extensions from file paths or logs.
