This regex matches key-value pairs formatted as 'Key => Value', commonly found in enum maps or test case dictionaries. It captures both the key and the value, which can consist of alphanumeric characters and periods, and ignores leading spaces or tabs. Trailing commas or spaces are also consumed, making it ideal for parsing lists of mappings in configuration files or source code.
