Build, test, and debug regular expressions
This regular expression matches an entire string that ends with one or more numerical digits. The '.*?' at the beginning lazily consumes any preceding characters, while the capturing group '([0-9]+)$' specifically extracts the trailing numbers located at the absolute end of the string. It is highly useful for parsing identifiers, validating numeric suffixes, or extracting trailing numeric values.
