Test, validate and match regular expressions
This regex matches an entire string containing at least one digit and captures the last sequence of numbers within the input. Because the initial `.*` is greedy, it consumes as many characters as possible, forcing the `\d+` to match the final number present. It is a common pattern used to reliably extract the very last numeric value from a string that might contain multiple numbers.
