Regex Tester & Validator

This regular expression matches Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) identifiers, which are used to track publicly known cybersecurity vulnerabilities. It enforces the standard format "CVE-Year-ID", where the year is either 1999 or any year from 2000 to 2999. The ID number must be at least four digits long, accurately validating both legacy (0001-9999) and modern IDs (10000 and above). It is highly useful for parsing security logs, scanning reports, or validating input fields in security-focused applications.
