Build, test, and debug regular expressions
Validates custom domain-style URLs (hostnames) without scheme. It ensures the string begins with an alphanumeric character, followed by at least one alphanumeric or hyphen, then a dot, and ends with a lowercase TLD-like segment that may include dots and hyphens. A negative lookahead forbids consecutive dots anywhere in the string. Useful for simple hostname validation or custom URL input checks.
