This regex parses text lines containing CUSIP identifiers and security descriptors. It captures the 9-character CUSIP (6+2+1), an optional asterisk marker, the security description, a security type keyword (e.g., NOTE, ORD, COM, CALL, etc.), and an optional status flag (DELETED or ADDED). It is useful for extracting structured data from CUSIP listings or financial data feeds.
