This regex uses a negative lookahead to match HTTP/HTTPS URLs that are NOT from github.com or its subdomains (gist, guides, help, raw, status, developer). It's useful for filtering out GitHub-related links and identifying external URLs, possibly in a dark mode styling context where GitHub URLs are handled differently.
