This regular expression extracts the first letter of words or capitalized segments in a string to generate an acronym. It matches the first letter of the string, any letter following a non-word character (like spaces or punctuation), or an uppercase letter not preceded by another uppercase letter (for camelCase). It is intended to be used globally to find all matching initials.
