Regex Tester & Validator

This regex validates commit messages against a specific convention. It enforces a maximum line length of 72 characters and matches either a 'vim-patch' prefix or a conventional commit type (fix, feat, docs, test, perf, refactor, chore, build) with an optional scope and breaking-change indicator, followed by a lowercase description that does not end with a period. It is ideal for use in git hook linters to ensure consistent, well-formed commit history.
