Regex Tester & Validator

This regex matches an HTML anchor tag, optionally preceded by a word, and captures the following text until the next anchor tag, the end of the string, or a period. It is useful for extracting links and their surrounding context from HTML comment sections or similar text, with named groups for pre-link text, the link itself, and post-link text.
