Build, test, and debug regular expressions
This regex matches a structured financial summary line that begins with nine dollar amounts in a fixed order (gross, earnings, pension, refund, garnishment, taxes, unknown, net, and cumulative taxes), each prefixed by a dollar sign and separated by whitespace. It then expects a date in the 2020s (starting with '202' followed by five digits) and, after some arbitrary characters, a final balance value that may include commas. It is designed for parsing payroll or cash certification records where each line contains these fields sequentially. Named capture groups make the extracted values easy to reference programmatically.
