Regex Editor & Tester

This regex matches either a quantity (one or more digits) followed by 'x' and an item name (at least three word characters), optionally followed by any non-comma characters, or just a standalone item name. It captures the quantity and item in named groups 'qty' and 'items', or the item in group 'item'. Use it to parse shopping lists, order lines, or inventory entries where quantities may be prefixed with 'x'.
