This regex validates AWS CloudWatch Events cron expressions, matching the cron(...) syntax with six space-separated fields: minute, hour, day-of-month, month, day-of-week, and year. It supports numeric values, wildcards (*), question marks (?), lists, ranges, and special characters like L, W, and # for day offsets. Useful for verifying schedule expressions in AWS infrastructure code or configuration files.
