Matches HTML/XML tags that consist of a word character sequence without attributes. It supports both opening tags (<tag>) and closing tags (</tag>) via an optional slash. Commonly used for simple tag extraction or validation, but fails on tags with attributes or self-closing tags. Useful in text processing for identifying tag-like patterns in markup.
