Build, test, and debug regular expressions
This regular expression matches content enclosed in a pair of parentheses, capturing the inner text without supporting nested opening parentheses. It works by finding an opening parenthesis, followed by one or more sequences of any characters except '(', and concluding with a closing parenthesis. This pattern is highly useful for extracting parenthetical remarks, annotations, or simple grouped data from blocks of text across multiple lines. The global and multiline flags ensure every occurrence is evaluated independently on each line.
