Regex Tester & Validator

This regex matches Python 2 unicode string dictionary entries in the form u'key': u'value'. It captures the key and value separately, excluding the surrounding single quotes. Useful for parsing Python source code, extracting key-value pairs from legacy data formats, or converting Python-2-style dict literals to other representations.
