Regex Tester & Validator

This regex validates whether a given string is a syntactically correct regular expression pattern. It recursively matches common regex components including literals, escaped characters, character classes, capturing and non-capturing groups, lookarounds, quantifiers, and alternation. It's useful for building regex-based tools, linters, or input validators that need to ensure user-supplied patterns are well-formed before processing.
