Regex Editor & Tester

This regex extracts the value of the alt attribute from HTML img tags. It uses a lookbehind to match alt=" and a lazy capture, then a lookahead to stop at the closing quote followed by >< (i.e., end of tag and start of next). Useful for web scraping or parsing image descriptions from HTML. Assumes exact formatting with no spaces around the equals sign and that the tag ends with "><.
