Build, test, and debug regular expressions
This regex matches the literal string "23" followed by exactly one character that is either a non-digit (any character except 0-9) or a literal asterisk (*). It is useful for detecting the number 23 when it appears immediately before a delimiter, separator, or symbol, such as in log parsing, file naming, or data extraction. Note that it does not match "23" at the end of a string or when followed by a digit.
