Test, validate and match regular expressions
Matches a word-like token that begins with digits, an underscore, and an alphanumeric character, followed by additional word characters. The preceding non-word character (or start of string) is consumed but not captured. This pattern is useful for extracting identifiers, variable names, or codes that start with a numeric prefix in text. It works in PCRE-compatible engines.
